Contributing Musicians


SEBASTIAN NOYA as a member of the Emilio Balcarce School of Tango, he participated in music festivals in Argentina and throughout Latin America, the USA and Europe. Sebastian is a double bassist and pianist. He has performed with some of the most renowned performing artists in Buenos Aires, namely Victor Lavallén, Diego Schissis Quintet, The Aca Seca Trio, Amores Tangos, Andrés Linetzky and the Vale Tango Sextet, Lidia Borda, Julio Pane, Ramiro Gallo und Daniel Melingo.

He accompanies Marisol Redondo on the double bass or the piano on her tours and prepares the musical arrangements for the songs that she sings.

SIMONE TOLOMEO was born in Italy and studied piano and music at the Palermo Conservatory. After performing Mediterranean musical styles, Blues and Jazz he began dedicating his musical focus to Tango. He learned to play the bandoneon with Federico Pereiro and arranging with Romiro Gallo. Since 2008 he has performed in the Café Tortoni o in the Carlos Gardel Corner and also performs in various typical orchestras.

Today he performs as a soloist in the El Mondongo Quartet of Palermo and in the Archetypical Orchestra of Ramiro Gallo, teaches bandoneon Master classes in La Plata, Argentina and accompanies Marisol Redondo on her tours.

SÁNDOR TÖRÖK is a composer focused on music for media, working out of his little studio in the heart of Switzerland.
Among others he is a member of the Neuchâtel Symphonic Ensemble and the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra, with whom he regularly performs live film scores. He accompanies Marisol on the double bass on her tours.

He recently won the SABAM Best Young International Composer Award of the 2016 World Soundtrack Awards.

LUIS ALVARENGA Paraguayan guitarist and harpist, founder of “Los Toners” and band leader since 1989. He collaborated with Marisol, playing the Paraguayan harp and the guitar on her album “El día que me quieras”.

ORLANDO DIBELO is one of the most important and influential Argentine bandoneon players of his generation. Throughout his extensive career he has engaged in extensive international concert activities as a tango player.

He has recently been awarded the Cavaion d’Oro Award in Italy, recognizing his career and contributions to the international promotion of tango. Orlando combines his performances with the provision of lessons and is frequently invited to give workshops and master classes for interpretation of tango.

EDWARD SHERMAN studied music in Pennsylvania and at the University of Towson, Maryland under Michael Decker and has spent several years as a guitarist in the band Citizen Cain on various tours in North America. Afterwards he moved to Spain and later to Switzerland.

He is the project manager of Marisol’s tours and the promoter of the group and also continues to play guitar, bass and percussion.

SARA KÖNN was born in Uruguay. Music has been accompanying since her earliest childhood in the form of dance, singing and instruments. She has been playing the piano since she was 7 and appeared as a teenager in the classical music station of the Uruguayan national television network and continues her rigorous study of the piano.

After emigrating to Germany and at the age of 16, Sara made solo appearances at a variety of public venues in Germany as well as different venues in Barcelona together with her siblings.

MARIELA REDONDO was born in Uruguay and as a child, together with her siblings, started performing on television and in theaters
in Uruguay and Barcelona. In Barcelona, where she lives, she continued her musical education with singing, piano and guitar studies.

Mariela has participated in various music ensembles as a soloist, including Latin-pop
Orchestras. Nowadays she sings in the gospel choir ‘Blackiblanc’ of Barcelona.

AMAIA BELOQUI took her first piano lessons at the age of 5 years. Four years later she successfully participated in her first music competition, which was the beginning of a long series of national and international competitions in Spain, Germany and Switzerland.

She works as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. Currently she is a student of Prof. Karl-Andreas Kolly in Winterthur and Zurich.
